Here are some of the times we had some stuff happen during a yoga class that made us what to shrink inside ourselves and die a little. But hopefully, it'll bring you a giggle. We'll absolutely make a part 2 of this one if you want to send in your own stories! 

Spooky Stories

This was our attempt to recreate last year's skooky themed content - but we need more time to build up our ghost story repitoir. That said, we did get into some ways you can clear and cleanse your space if you have some unwelcome or undesired guests from another dimensional plane.

Fear of Energy Work

One google search of commonly asked questions about energy work will show you how much fear is promoted keeping you scared to practice or receive energy work. Energy workers can get caught in a cycle of fear by practicing too much protection work - seems weird, right?

Fear is a vibration and if you're practicing protection alllll the time, you're in the vibration of fear - this translates to the Universe that you are not organically protected at all times. 

I love cleansing rituals, don't get me wrong, but even those can turn into a cycle of fear - did you forget to open the window during your smoke clearing? Now all the spirits are stuck and coughing in your house (I kid...). Intention is everything. 

I'll share a little about how I choose to approach protection in my life and energy work as a practitioner of over 10 years (almost 15!)

Are You A Rescuer?

Being a rescuer is often confused with empath but this dynamic is two sided. Being a rescuer means finding someone to be rescued. This was me (Mel), I'm a recovering rescuer.

In this episode, I use the current reality show - Perfect Match as an incredibly accurate depiction of what a Rescuer and Rescued (victim) relationship looks like and share my own personal struggles with being a Rescuer.  

Not only do I share juicy deets about myself, I also share how I've moved towards allowing myself to be rescued - which is what I was craving all along.

We share our experiences about naked yoga, women's retreats and returning back to comfort in your own skin. 

Clothes can keep people attached to identities offering a veil between you and another person, it's really different when you show up in only skin.

This Is Happening For You

Have you ever been going through it and someone says "this is happening for you, not to you" and at that moment you could have pulled all your hair out but looking back you can see that it really was, even if it sucked. Unwanted advice can sting at times and other times it can block you from seeing the truth of a situation and really processing it. So many people get caught up in being the fixer when really all that's needed is a listener.
